WHO WE ARE

Himalayan HealthCare is a small nonprofit organization founded in 1992 that focuses on grassroots interventions to directly impact Nepalese living in impoverished and remote areas of Nepal. Our board of directors all serve on a volunteer basis, and the only paid staff are Nepalese working on the ground. The organization has many international medical professionals and students who serve as volunteers.

WHO WE SERVE

Poverty in Nepal is concentrated in rural villages and among ethnic minorities and Dalit (once untouchables). HHC partners with some of the most impoverished and marginalized people in the world, working in remote and isolated villages of several rural municipalities of Nepal. Women, Children, Indigenous, and Dalit community members are at the center of our work.
